Real healing touches the whole person: the mind, the heart, and the soul.

Welcome

As-salamu alaykum, and welcome.

I'm Asmaa Mahran, and I'm so glad you found your way here.

For more than a decade, I have had the honor of walking alongside people through some of the hardest seasons of their lives. Along the way, I've learned that real healing touches the whole person: the mind, the heart, and the soul. When psychology and faith come together, people often discover a peace they didn't know was possible.

My path has brought me through years of study in psychology and hypnotherapy. Today I am completing my doctorate in Clinical Psychology and pursuing a PhD in Islamic Psychology, alongside diplomas in Islamic Psychology and Islamic Studies. But the teacher closest to my heart has always been the Qur'an. It shapes how I understand the human soul, its fragility, and its remarkable ability to heal. This is the focus of my current research on how the Qur'an addresses psychological fragility.

When psychology and faith come together, people often discover a peace they didn't know was possible.

My Approach

Caring for the whole person

Close to My Heart

Where much of my work is focused

Healing after narcissistic abuse and abusive relationships

Much of my heart goes to those who have lived through narcissistic abuse or abusive relationships, whether with a parent, a spouse, or someone they trusted. This kind of pain is often invisible to others. It can leave you doubting yourself, your worth, and sometimes even your relationship with Allah.

I want you to know that what you experienced is real, and that healing is possible. Together, we can make sense of what happened, quiet the harsh inner voice, set healthy boundaries, and help you rediscover who you are.

Supporting couples

I also love supporting couples, both those preparing for marriage and those hoping to reconnect. Healthy relationships are a blessing, and they can be learned and nurtured.
